Movie Poster
In this project, I created multiple movie posters with my face. This project started with a simple picture of myself behind a green screen. After that, I found the two best photos and created backgrounds and almost a scene for the movie poster with Photoshop.
Starting with the Dune poster; I was excited to create this one because I had just seen the new movie. I wanted to stay the same color scheme that the Dune movie had; which was mute colors of grey and almost a mint color. I found multiple desert backgrounds, then I layered them to look as though it was far away. I started to work on myself; I needed to dull out my skin and make it seem as though I was in the muted background. After I got that done, I started to find the suit the character had on in the movie. I was able to find a photo of one and cut it out. After some warping, I made it fit my body perfectly. Then I went in and added a blue glowing hue to my eyes. After that, I finished by adding the title and the HBO Max release date at the bottom.
For my next poster, I went for the new Batman movie. Once again I used a photo of myself behind a green screen. I decided to turn my jacket completely black so it would blend into the background and not be the focal point of the image. By adding a red hue to my face, I created an eye-catching look from it. Then I went in and added the Batman movie poster question marks. I decided to make the background plain and add a shadow around it to add to the mysterious mood of the piece. Lastly, I added the HBO Max and the title of the movie at the bottom and was done.
